Today at the World Orienteering Championships in Genoa, athletes took part in the Model Event in Sestri Ponente West. The session gave teams the opportunity to test terrain and control sites similar to those they will encounter in tomorrow's competition, while also familiarising themselves with all start and finish procedures.

Meanwhile, the start lists for tomorrow's races have been published. The day begins with the Sprint Qualification in the morning, followed by the Sprint Final in the afternoon, where the top 15 athletes from each qualification heat will compete for the world titles.

Set in the heart of Sestri Ponente, tomorrow's races promise to be highly spectacular, with the finish arena located in Piazza Baracca.
